Not every solar system needs a battery. If you choose on-grid with net metering, the grid acts as your battery — excess solar units export during the day, and you draw from the grid at night. No battery cost, no maintenance, fastest payback.
Skip the battery if: your area has stable WAPDA supply with minimal load shedding, your priority is lowest possible system cost and fastest ROI, or you have a 3kW or 5kW system where the battery cost represents 30–40% of total system price.
